How to view a child payment card
The card detail page in KiddyCash shows you everything about a payment card linked to one of your children — the card status, masked card number, expiry, and spending limits. This reference guide walks you through opening that page so you always know where to find the information you need.

What is a child payment card?
A child payment card is a virtual or physical card attached to your child’s KiddyCash wallet. It lets them spend their allowance — for example, paying for school supplies in Nairobi or topping up a mobile account — within limits you control. Each card belongs to one child profile inside your family account.
Before you start
Make sure you have:

| A KiddyCash family account | You must be the parent or guardian managing the family |
| At least one child profile | The child must already exist in your family |
| A card issued to that child | The card must have been created previously |
| The KiddyCash app | Logged in on your phone or browser |

Steps to view a child payment card

Open the KiddyCash app on your phone or visit the web portal in your browser. Sign in with your parent account credentials.

Go to your Family dashboard. Tap Family in the bottom navigation bar. You will see a list of all the child profiles you manage.

Select the child. Tap the child whose card you want to view. Their individual profile page opens.

Tap “Wallet & Cards”. This section lists every payment method linked to that child, including any active KiddyCash cards loaded with KES allowances.

Tap the card. Tap the card you want to inspect. This opens the card detail page.

Review the card information. The card detail page displays the fields listed in the table below.
What you will see on the card detail page

| Expiry date | Month and year the card expires |
| Spending limit | The daily or monthly KES limit you have set |

| Issued date | When the card was created |
What you cannot do on this page
The card detail page is read-only. You can view card information but you cannot edit it here. To change spending limits, rename the card, or update its status, see How to update a child payment card.
