How to create a kid business campaign

A campaign in KiddyCash is a way for your kiddy business to advertise a product or a special offer — like selling mandazi at school, offering to wash cars in your neighbourhood, or running a holiday sale. When you create a campaign, other KiddyCash users can see what you are selling and respond to it.

This guide walks you through creating your first campaign from scratch.

Before you start: You need an active kiddy business on your KiddyCash account. If you already have one, you are ready to go.


What you will need

  • Your KiddyCash account login
  • A name for your campaign (for example, “Chapati Friday Special”)
  • A short description of what you are selling or offering
  • A price or offer amount (in KES if you are in Kenya)
  • Optional: a photo of your product

Steps to create a campaign

  1. Log in to your KiddyCash account. Open the app and enter your username and password.

  2. Go to your kiddy business dashboard. Tap the Business section from the bottom navigation menu. This is where you manage everything related to your kiddy business.

  3. Open the campaign creation page. Tap Campaigns, then tap Create Campaign. You can also go directly to https://kiddy.cash/kiddy-business/campaign/create in your browser.

  4. Enter your campaign name. Choose something clear and catchy. For example: “Holiday Beaded Bracelets — 3 for KES 150”. People should immediately know what you are offering.

  5. Write a short description. Describe your product or offer in a few sentences. Mention important details — like where you are based (Nairobi, Mombasa, or wherever you are), how to collect or receive the item, and any limited-time details.

  6. Set your price or offer. Enter the amount in KES. If you are running a discount or bundle deal, explain it clearly in the description field.

  7. Add a product image (optional but recommended). A clear photo makes your campaign much more visible and trustworthy to buyers. Tap Upload Image and choose a photo from your device.

  8. Choose a transaction code type (optional). A transaction code is a short code used to track payments or orders linked to your campaign. KiddyCash uses these to connect payments to the right campaign automatically.   9. Review your campaign details. Read through everything once more. Check the spelling, price, and description.

  10. Tap Publish. Your campaign is now live and visible to others on KiddyCash.


After you publish
